wtnhunt
something tells me it had to be a bobcat or a lynx, and not a mountain lion. Mountain lions are HUGE! Yep. Gotta agre with Kyle here, unless it was a mountain lion kitten, would think Thumpers would have been toted off by a lion. You keep saying "Big Paws". Have you ever seen a lynx in captivity? Their paws are huge and they don't have spots in your neck of the woods. Bobcats also have rather large paws and have color phases that may have them with very faint markings. Glad to hear things are going well and hope Thumper makes a full recovery Ashley.
Ravin R10 man
it was a cat of some sort..Ash says a yearling Mt Lion is closer to what is was than a B-cat or Lynx.

Ravin R10 man
I just got Thumps home from the vets..he does not want to be in the house, so I let out into the porch where the attack happened...He took running for the door tumbled down the steps, I think I heard him go.."IT'S GONNA EAT ME'!!!...LOL.. I let him walk outside and survey his "kingdom"...then he flopped in the sun for awhile and then drank from a rain puddle. Hopefully he will pick up on his eating soon..
