johnf
I wouldn't be pleased at all with the groups he's getting. I wouldn't hunt with a gun that performed that poorly.
hunterbobb
I must be missing something here. That grouping is terrible. What is your point here. I know the Marlin rifle is capable of much better than that. You either have a problem with the scope or I think you need to practice more. :gun2:

From reading your other posts, I am thinking your are not from the states which isnt a bad thing. We are always interested in others sharing their experiences even if there is a language barrier, the common thing is that we like firearms and shooting them. Congrats on your rifle/scope combination. Keep us posted on your Marlin XL-7, they are great rifles for an economical price.

I have a 2506 with a Fullfield II on it, running I4831 and 100 grain ballistic tips.... does about 3300fps, and holds about .5 moa rain, shine,snow... I think someone just needs to get a good rest and learn trigger control.

Welcome to the forums Kristian55. I'd say try some other ammo too and maybe get a table with shooting bags of some sort to support the front and rear of the stock. You'll figure out what makes that thing shoot even better. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
