checking the plots. My deer are really being weird right now. The bucks still have their antlers--which is still pretty normal right now--but all of a sudden I am getting pics of bucks sparring and seeing new rubs confused.gifconfused.gif

Anyway--I went out today to do a little scouting, check on the plots, and see if any antlers have dropped--took a few pics and thought i would share!

Here is a new rub I found on a main trail right inside my Hamann Farms food plot:

Here is a before and after pic of the Hamann Farms Winter mix. This pic was taken in November:

Here is what the polot looks like today--the deer had eaten everything green but with the nice weather we have been having the brassicas are starting to grow a little more forage--but any way you can see how much the deer have been foraging on the brassicas:

Here is a pic of the Fall Blend--clover/chicory/ and trefoil--you can see the deer have mowed the clover to the ground---but as you can see the clover is still very green and should recover nicely once it starts spring growth:

Here are some pics of my annual fall mix. It is a mix that is made here locally---the cereal grains have really started producing with the warmer weather--which is great since most natural forage has been browsed pretty heavily:

And my last pic---One of Oneida Man's State Fair winning turnips grin.gif You can see the deer have eaten most of the turnip greens:

BTW--the pic of the two bucks sparring is posted in the photo room if you want to see it!
