johnf
Look for a used diamond edge. I've got one and if I get a new bow this spring I may sell it. I'm guessing if I do it will got around $175, but it's 40-50lbs, probably a bit heavy for him. They are quiet, accurate and very smooth. You may want to take a look on Archerytalk to see if you could find a 30-40lb version. If you want to spend a bit more you could get the newer Razors Edge. It goes from 30-60lbs and would last him a long time.

maddhunter
My son is about ready to move up from his Mathews Ignition. It has a 21" draw (I believe) and a 19" cam with it. We will sell it for $200 bare. It is a 40# bow but goes up to 42 pounds actuall. It is 3 years old. Let me know if you do or don't want it, I am putting it up for sale soon. BuckNrut
Shall we assume this is for a right-handed shooter?... I have a youth model "lefty" if you are interested.
RTPROFamily
We have a PSE Spyder that Randy bought for his sister a few years ago. I don't think that it was ever shot. She prefers to shoot a muzzleloader. I will check with Randy when he returns from Ohio this weekend to get a price for you if you still need a bow.
