Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Not sure if we have had a thread like this before, but we always see the threads about posting pics of our bows, so I figured why not do it here. Here is my bag: Driver: Nike Dymo 9.5 degrees Fairway Woods: Taylor Made Firesole 3 wood (it is pretty old, about 8-9 years, but it is my favorite club in the bag) Irons: Tommy Armour 845 Silverscots (these are pretty old also but I am sticking with them for one more year) Wedges: Nike forged 60 degree, Tommy Armour 56 degree Putter: Taylor Made Nubbins B3 Bag: Nike Sasquatch Tour Stand Bag I am due for some new irons, I have had mine for around 8-9, maybe even 10 years. I plan on keeping them this year, and then buying a new set next spring as a graduation gift to myself

toddyboman
Sweet bag!!! I'm new to golfing... Four rounds under my belt so far(Any tips are more than welcome!!!) 1. Practice, practice, practice!! 2. Don't try and kill the ball every time you step up to the tee box. If you slice or hook a little with an easy swing you will even more when you try and hit it a mile. 3. Play in the short grass as much as possible. SO if you know you are going to slice/hook then play that shot. 4. Spend time on the range to work on your mechanics DO NOT work on mechanics while on the course. 5. And finally and I think the most important.....Spend more time on the practice green putting and chipping than at the driving range hitting your driver. In a round of golf (18 holes) you will hit your drive 12 to 14 times yet you will use your putter 30 times or more...... Drive for show putt for dough HAVE FUN! Rhino
When it comes to golf, when you're at my level of talent there's certain things you look for in a golf bag. Like the chill zone (built in ice cooler) in the lower part of my bag. Holds up to 6 adult beverages. Comes in real handy when the round is going south. Number of pockets rivals a turkey vest. Never know when you need extra bug spray looking for my golf balls in the thickets. Although I carry sun tan lotion I don't use it much since I play out of the shade more often than under the sun. I need a large capacity pocket for balls too. My personal best on lost golf balls in a single round was 13 on the Magnolia Course at Walt Disney World. That's a day when I needed this bag with the chilled adult beverages. Color...well resembles how beat up I am after a usual round of golf...black and blue. Weapons of choice: Callaway Biggest Big Bertha Driver (small compared to modern drivers) Callaway 3, 5, & 7 woods Ping Zing Irons Wilson putter...Gives a new meaning to hollering "WILSON"
