texastrophies
What I thought was the really pathetic part was the last couple of minutes of the game they just quit. No fouls, no stopping the clock, nothing. And I was pulling for them. Guess 23 just didn't want to score, seeing how it has been said he could do it anytime he wants to. buckbuster11
I'm still curious as to what was going on in Game 5 with Lebron just standing around.:jaw:

Lebron sure didn't seem to have that drive/desire to WIN this serious. Just didn't have the killer instinct to take the game over and win it..... dogdoc
Boston is a play-off team but no doubt James was off. That point guard for Boston had the series of his life--wow!
muggs
Yeah Chris, it's a curse.:1eye: What is being missed a lot about that fold job is the fact Jamison, Z, and Shaq had not been on the roster together until the opening game of the Bulls playoff series. Shaq had been sidelined with injury the 2 months prior even...so that had a lot to do with Mike Brown struggling to make adjustments/find his rotation, and had even more to do with the lack of chemistry on offense. That, and it's pretty safe to say Boston was highly underestimated during the regular season. "Old" is quickly becoming "hard playoff experienced veterans" when people talk about the C's. The Cavs have the deeper team, maybe even the deepest in the league, but you only rotate 9 guys during the playoffs and Boston's top 5 were just flat out more talented. Take the top four guys from each team. Cavs have LeBron, Jamison, Shaq, and Mo Williams. The C's have Rondo, Pierce, KG, and Ray Allen. Now take away the best player from each team (LeBron obviously from the Cavs, and for the sake of arguement let's say it's Rondo from Boston)...that leaves the Cavs with a 38 year old Shaq, Jamison, and Mo. Boston still has three future HOFers playing their best ball in years. I think this Boston team is much better than their 2008 team. TN Bucknasty
I'm probably stepping on some toes here, but I thought Shaq proved to be pretty worthless once again. With the exception of a good run at Phoenix, he has been pretty worthless since Miami. He doesn't hustle, he can't guard anyone, and in order to shut him down, all you have to do is send him to the line. Hickson should have been in over him. They need to drop Shaq who is a gigantic waste of financial resources and pick up a 3 point shooter. Ray allen would be a perfect fit. Jamison has been a disappointment as well, mostly because his worth was blown out of proportion in the first place. As for Lebron, he had an off series and there was no one there to pick up the slack. He continually attacked the basket with the first intention of passing whereas he usually uses that as a second option. On top of that, did you hear the reports that LeBron found out about his momma's lover right before he tanked in game 4? :tt1:

According to the lawyers it's false. Then again, who knows?
