Compound vs. crossbow

i have hunted with both and i have taken deer with both. from a pure accuracy standpoint, a compound bow is more accurate than a crossbow. this is proven by the scores at the Indoor shoots the NFAA has, when you look at the top scores, the compounds always shoot higher than the crossbows.

a crossbow is heavier, cumbersome and loud. but if thats all you have to use until you heal, then i say go for it. im never one to say stay out of hunting simply because you choose a differant weapon than i do.

Good Luck

Tony
