coles
Got in about 8:30pm last night. Was supposed to fly into Great Falls at 4pm. Flew from Lake Charles to Dallas to Denver and then to Great Falls. I got into Denver at 11am and was supposed to leave at about 2pm. While sitting at my gate an alarm came over the intercom and there was a tornado warning for the airport. They evacuated everyone from our terminal to the main terminal. Surprisingly, people werent panicing or running. It supposedly touched down not to far from the airport. After they lifted the warning everything went down hill from there. Flights were getting cancelled left and right and my gate was changed 5 times. Finally got on a plane at 6pm and flew to Great Falls. Had a great trip and caught more than 300 fish. Everything from Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Croakers, Sailor Catfish, Sand Trout, Largemouth Bass, Blue Gill,Crappie and a few others Im probably forgetting. Went hog hunting a couple times but never found any hogs. Saw plenty of sign but it was just too hot for them to be out until after dark. Saw lots of snakes too. Alot of Copperheads and Cotton Mouths. I also ended up bringing 3 new guns home!!!!! I bought a Remington 700 ADL 243 Win for cheap at Academy. My godfather also gave me a Ruger 77/17 Mach 2 and an old Savage 99 250-3000. He said he bought the Savage in Texas a long time ago. I was looking at it and who ever owned it a long time ago carved a grip in the forend and it has 7 or 8 hash marks carved into the stock. The carvings will absolutely take away from the value but I wish this gun could talk! I bet it has some stories to tell! Ill get pictures uploaded maybe tomorrow or the first part of next week. I just got everything unpacked and i have to pack back up again for 3 days at my girlfriend's family's cabin for Memorial day!
