The_Kat
The Marcellas Shale is going nuts in Western PA! I've been very busy as you can see in these pics. The lines I'm working on are just fuel lines, not the big lines that I'm used to which will come in the following years. Hope you folks up here like pipelines and drilling rigs, cause they are gonna be here for awhile! This is what I look at all day. I weld too. Shaun_300
Looks like a lot of work, I wouldn't mind the welding though.
Adjam5
Very interesting Kyle. Yes, that Marcellus shale has been a HOT topic in upstate NY for quite a while now. Many do not want the enviro hazards that the drilling brings from "Fracking".
Strut10
We're no strangers to rigs and pipeline crews in west PA. Summer before last, my dad counted 3 days during the entire summer where he could not hear a rig running from his back porch swing at night. jm23494
The gas industry has certainly hit Pennsylvania with force. I would be willing to bet the county that I am from in Northeast PA has doubled in population since it began. I know that in the next year that they will be drilling on our property and putting a few wells in so I should be able to get a first hand view of the operations.
