Leo
Yeah, I know it's low still adjusting my sights. BTW, this is three different heads at 33 yards. 125 grain Field point, 125 grain Rocket Stricknine and 125 grain Slicktrick Standard. This is the first time I've shot with this new sight at this distance. I am pleased to get three different heads to group this well at 33 yards. arrow32
At 33 yards with 3 different heads I'd be happy with a group like that. Just think when you get that moved up a bit you'll be smokin em.
Doc
If you're shooting broadheads, you really don't want the group any tighter or you'll be buying more arrows ..... lol. Doc

Doc I tape the mechanical shut with electrical tape and always shoot the fixed first. That makes it harder to mess one up.
suro25
I would be happy with that group
Prairiepredator
I think it is pretty good. I would be happy with it!
tedicast
shooting that group, with a fieldpoint, and 2 different broadheads, shows that you have a fairly well tuned bow. What does your 3 arrow group with fieldpoints look like at that range?

What does your 3 arrow group with fieldpoints look like at that range? About the same. I think I've got the bow tuned in right it's just a matter of me practicing more to shoot tighter groups. Right now the bow is shooting better than me.
Rhino
That group will sure work fine when you get it where you want it Leo. Gotta ask though...you got a 33 yard pin?
m gardner
Nice group Leo. Thirty three yard pin? Oh, 30 meters! You've gone Metric on us.
Leo
That group will sure work fine when you get it where you want it Leo. Gotta ask though...you got a 33 yard pin? Yep I got a 33yard pin. 34,35,36...60! LOL! It's a HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra 5519 Bow Sight model DS-XL5519. It's a "slider" sight (more correctly this one is geared). I'm still setting it up. Once you get the 20 and 60yard settings you put on the right sight tape and you can dial in any range between 20 and 60. I'm working my way back to the 60yd setting. I need it to be as accurate as possible. That's why I'm shooting broadheads for set up. This sight is gonna be setup for hunting. It is the sight shown at the bottom of this page. http://www.hhasports.com/sights/opt_lite_ultra.htm
Rhino
Gotcha...years ago I had a slider type sight on my High Country Supreme. My eyes got to the point where I couldn't focus on setting it in low light without reading glasses so I had to switch to a conventional pin sight. dbHunterNY
Looks like your bow is tuned pretty well. Figure out which one you're using and I'm sure you could tune it to those head only and be forced to shoot at different squares.

wtnhunt
Think some African game animals are in trouble if they get within 33 yards. Nice group Leo.
ruttinbuc
Real nice group! I am most confident there will be short blood trails to follow over there on the dark continent. Although, I am still amazed at how far that antelope run after that near perfect 46 yard shot a couple years ago. Still kicking myself for not getting to the movie switch fast enough...:hammer1:
