sskybnd
i cant beleave my luck.. i put out a mineral site last weekend, well my sister i went to hang a few stands and i told her about the site i put out and where i was going to put my sky scraper stand, well as we come up to the site we had seen it was all tore up i was jumping for joy thinking finely i had found something the deer would come to, she asked me what i used.. i told her it was a secret formula,, well we had to wait till we got back to the truck to look at the pics... the first thing she said is it a bear, my heart sank knowing what it was at a glance, as you can see its no bear, she's never seen a wild hog before looks like he's going to try to take up residence ayt my mineral site, i going to give him another weekend of feeling at home than im going to go in and do my best to kill him
redkneck
Funny! Hey you got it lucky, at least there's daylight pics. A little bait and a bow, get some charcoal and call your buddies. Wait till you got the ones that are strictly nocturnal and you have to build a trap to get them out, then you got a chore, not just making the traps, but getting rid of all those hogs when you catch them. Good luck with him.
wtnhunt
You must have a high mineral content in your soil, either that or someone nearby is giving the deer minerals. Deer here are hammering our mineral site, which needs replenished in a bad way.
redkneck
My experience is that deer will often move out when hogs move in. Probably the smell it's leaving behind.

Rhino
Sorry to see that for ya. I have the same problem here. Can't really get rid of them once you have them. Only good thing about them is they will range a whole lot farther than deer. Just wack and stack as many as you can to try to keep the population in check.
