Shaun_300 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Share Posted June 9, 2010 One of the funeral directors in town asked for a hand to help him move on the weekend and he's also a man short at the funeral home. He asked me if I'd be interested in doing some cleaning and detailing of his funeral vehicles and helping him out around the funeral home. I thought what the heck, may as well do something I enjoy doing and get paid for it in the evenings. It's not every night, but the last 2 nights I put 4 hours in each night. Cash deal too, which is nice! Last night I detailed, washed and waxed the lead car, 2007 Cadillac DTS and washed their van before I left. Tonight I washed, waxed and detailed his 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Tomorrow night he asked me to wax the limo! That'll be a long job!:jaw: Then the next night or the weekend he wants me to wax the hearse. Anyways I'm liking it, love doing it and I've known him for a long time, he makes for a great boss! redkneck Posted June 9, 2010 Report Share Posted June 9, 2010 That's great Shaun. Nice to pick up a little extra cash. I got called to fix a neighbor's gas line Monday. Had to cut and thread a piece of pipe and stuck it back on yesterday afternoon. May have spent one hour total. She asked me what I owed her, I told her just let me take the kids fishing in her pond (she's a real sweety). Ended up getting $100 bucks, a fishing trip (monster cat in the pond!) and a plate of brownies for the girls (man ya gotta love rich old ladies!).
