woolybear
Thanks guys. Going through quite a bit of a learning curve coming off my Kodak Easy Share point and shoot. Think I'm really gonna enjoy this one through it all. Good entry level SLR for me I think. Baby snappers have hatched here and are growing like weeds. Still waiting for my first garbage can cover sized turtle but I know where they live.....:camera:
Shaun_300
Awesome pics Matt, I went from a point and shoot to a DSLR a couple years ago, I love it! Just experiment with the settings and it won't take long to catch on.

Let me know if you recommend anything in particular. Not really sure what to for with that stuff but would be interested in it.

Stone Cold
My sister just got pics of one too. Where is the nearest water for him. My sisters lives at least 1 to 2 miles from water and this sucker was in a puddle in her driveway and is the size of a dinner plate. Good Eating too!
