P90X....Dear Lord!

Have any of you given this program a try? I have worked out on and off over the last 3 years, more on than off. I considered myself to be in decent shape, though I've slacked off a bit in the last year or so. My figure definitely shows this laziness for sure. Anyways I finally caved to the P90X craze that has been around awhile and let me tell you this thing is insane. I'm 23 years old and can run 1.5 miles in 11:30 mins and this thing kicked my butt. Alls the first DVD is, is a lil back and chest work out and I barely made it to the second rotation of exercises. I literally couldn't pick myself up off the floor by the time the workout was over.

Anyways I just started the 90 day program...today is Day 1. I'm making an album on facebook to track my progress at day 30, 60, and 90. Check it out and let me know during the next 3 months if you see changes. I need all the support I can get during this thing. And no Chris, this isn't a how big our your biceps type thing :D.....I'm dead serious about completing this and getting some wicked results. I wanna be in the best shape of my life come Sept. 16th.

I encourage anyone looking for a kickbutt workout to look into it too. I know it's gonna take all I have to get er done!

Kyle it works.....and it is going to kick your butt royally!!!

My wife and I started it......we got 1/2 way thru and then things came up and we started slacking and eventually quit.:bang: :( But it was working and was great stuff. We have plans to start it again after summer vacations.:cool2:

Keep at it....You will be happy with the results!!

I've never tried it myself. I have done some tabata intervals and a little crossfit. I know a few people that have started it and never finished. It seems like they get burnt out on the longer workouts and quit before they're half way through. If you've got the motivation and stick with it through the whole program I'm sure you'll get some great results. Good luck Kyle!

I've tried it, but something always seems to come up and break the routine for me. And it's kinda hard to do some of the workouts in a second story apartment! I doubt my neighbors downstairs would like me much if I was jumping around for an hour straight. I really want to get back into it, though here lately I've just been picking a couple of the workouts and doing them when I can.

Good luck and stick with it!

Hey Kyle good luck with that! Like everyone else I've heard great things about it. I've got the DVDs, but Jess and I are waiting to start it. It'd be kind of hard with all the boxes everywhere right now. When we get into the new house we're going to start it. Good luck I'm sure we'll need it too.
