Switchback29A1
The Leupold RX series are awesome range fingers. I loved the RXII, now looking at the
Ravin R10 man
I wont waste my money on one...I dont shoot over 30 yards and its just another gadget to pack along..if i hunted out west or open country, then I can see where it would be handy

RangerClay
I like my Nikon 440. Its the little brother to the 550. When you make up your mind, check out the prices at www.opticsplanet.com
Diamond Archer 01
Never had any problems with it. Me and my dad both have one and they are waterproof which is very good. I would highly recommend it to you.
MonsterBuck48
do either the 440 or 550 have elevation adjustment for accuracy from a stand that is the main feature in which im lookin for
Diamond Archer 01
Yup, the 550 has the ID technology for the shooting angle you are shooting from. The 550 stands for that it goes out to 550 yards.

cinch314
I have not been up 20ft but 15 ft it is accurate to me at any angle because I put my bag down there and shoot from every angle what it tells me to aim at and hit my bag right on target. hoosierhunter
nikon has the new archers choice max out which from reading seems pretty slick. It has a wider lense and also light sensing technology that adapts to high and low light conditions. Only drawback is that it's ONLY for bowhunting b/c of it's 100 yard limitation. I would love to see one with the same features that goes out to about 500 yards with the same accuracy.
hunterwebb
i have a nikon 400 i dont think you need arc but with a bow you do need to know range even with the fastest bows

MonsterBuck48
ok so im prolly goin to go with the scout 1000 arc. but as a reference whats the differece between 20,30 yrd shots on ground level and say a 20ft stand.
mikebohio
i have a nikon 400 i dont think you need arc but with a bow you do need to know range even with the fastest bows i agee i dont think the arc makes much diffrence at all i have a bushenell without arc and have never had an issue. if your up in your stand and range a tree directly in front of you and then range it at its base youll see it is almost always less than a yard diffrence
Straight Shooter
I agree, i don't believe you need the ARC in a range finder for bowhunting. I've had a Bushnell Scout for several years without it and had no issues with getting the range accurately.

DropTine49
I use the Bushnell Chuck Adams, it works great! It has the angle of elevation and how you should bow shoot up to 100 yards.
NEBRbruiser
The Leupold RX series are awesome range fingers. I loved the RXII, now looking at the 750 Definately agree with the RX from Leupold. First off you can't go wrong with anything Leupold. If you have had a bad experience with a product in the past it is either your own fault for not using it right or a very rare fluke. I would recommend saving you some money and getting last years model brand new off ebay. I bought mine for $220 a year old when they retailed for $350. Not bad and used it last year with good results. Good luck.
