Under those conditions...with nobody other than Sandy..it may be safe to a point,...but I think one would have to be VERY careful not to trip and possibly wound a bystander if one tried this. Personally ..I'd not do it unless I was in a spot like you..with nobody around. I have a concern about safety with this method if not done right. This is a very dangerous method. Any one trying it better know for sure what they are doing. This is not something inexperienced shooters should be trying.
