I think changing the dates so soon is stupid, they should give it another year or so before actually changing them, just so more people can give their opinions. I don't like seasons starting on the first Saturday because more people will be out which will equal possibly more shooting accidents and the deer will immediately be scattered all over the place. I don't know but I don't have a good feeling about the changes. Wonder if anyone told the DEC that the wildlife is God's creation, not theirs !
