okiebuck
Hey folks, My sweet wife just upgraded our Dish Network hardware to HD for my fathers day gift. I was wondering if anyone has heard if the Outdoor Channel will be in HD anytime in the future? I never realized what a difference it would be, but man it is night and day! Thanks! dbHunterNY
Hey folks, My sweet wife just upgraded our Dish Network hardware to HD for my fathers day gift. I was wondering if anyone has heard if the Outdoor Channel will be in HD anytime in the future? I never realized what a difference it would be, but man it is night and day! Thanks! I have Time Warner digital cable and whatever channel I get normally in digital I now get in HD for free. This is assuming there is an HD channel for that network. The Outdoor Channel is one of them and it's sweet!
Rhino
I get the Outdoor Channel in HD right now with my U-Verse service from AT&T. Not sure why you don't. It may be an add on you haven't gotten yet. Get a couple of other hunting related channels in HD too.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Right now only certain cable providers have it in HD. This is all I could find on it: Verizon FiOS was the first provider to carry it. AT&T U-verse added it in October 2008.In early April 2009, it was announced that it had reached carriage agreement deals with Comcast, RCN, US Cable, and Time Warner Cable for the HD version. okiebuck
Thanks for the responses guys! Dish just moved it to a different channel, so I assume this is to prepare for HD hopefully!
