cinch314
I am wanting to get a K&D air filter put on my truck but I was told by someone to make sure that it works because they had to take their filter off because it wasn't working. Is that possible? I thought if you had the right size and everything that it would work? What does this person mean? Kinda has me leary of spending $80 on a filter if it might not work. Shaun_300
K&N is must be what you're talking about, they are well worth the money. Usually about the same price as a OEM filter but will last a lot longer. Have a million mile warranty on them, give you better air flow which gives you better power and fuel efficiency. cinch314
Ok so Im blond and it is K&N but like I said, "I was told by someone to make sure that it works because they had to take their filter off because it wasn't working. " Is that possible?
okiebuck
As long as you get the correct one for your vehicle it's going to work. Not much can go wrong with an air filter...
Shaun_300
The only thing an aftermarket air filter can screw up is the Mass Air Flow sensors if the filters are over oiled. K&N filters are the non-oil type, haven't seen a K&N mess up any of our MAF sensors.
