redkneck
But I got to get rear pads put on the wife's BMW today. This should be fun. Never replaced pads with "pad wear sensors" before. My service manual has not been released yet, but I got my order in for it. I just dread working on that hot carport today with no A/C!!! One day when I get enough money I'll pay somebody to work on everything, but then I'll probably be too old to drive. :1eye:
Goinghuntin
I hear ya buddy. 93 degrees and MUGGY today :jaw: Kept me away from the annual Quad City air show that I was looking forward to going to. I still need to put in plugs and wires and my truck but not in this weather Nathan

They will/should not just push in like normal calipers, unless you have some BMW that I have not worked on. If you look at the piston and they have 2 or 4 grooves around the outside they twist. Just a heads up if you havent worked on them before.

Pulled out the old pads, squeezed the piston in with a C-clamp and all was well. Put on the new pad sensor (I bought 2, only needed the one on the pass side). My C-clamp does swivel, so maybe it did rotate on the way in. I had a harder time resetting the iDrive system than anything else, but all is well now.
