arrow 1
Sometimes my arrows fish tail, and I'm not sure what causes this problem. I'm knew to the forum, but have been archery hunting for several years. Just wondering what the problem might be. My guess that it might be just one arrow, the fletching etc.
tedicast
First off...grap a Sharpie, and number your arrows. That way when you see an arrow not flying right, you'll know if it is the same arrow or not. Are all of your arrows the same brand, spine, length etc? Fletched the same? If it was a bow problem, you would see this consistently not just occasionally. Make sure all of your nocks are indexed properly with the vanes. Not sure what rest you are using, but make sure you are shootingthe cock feather in the proper orientation. This should give you a good start on finding your problem. Let us know how you make out. arrow 1
Hi Monster Buck. Thanks for your input on bow tuning. I'll start by marking my arrows and then go from there. I'm thinking it's just one arrow as I don't recall noticing the fish tailing with all arrows. Thanks again for your info.
