Prairiepredator
It hasn't been too bad here lately...just a lot of moisture.
TBow
I was up on scafolding on my roof yesterday taking down my old chimney. You'd almost think someone threw a bucket (or two) of water on me as I was dripping wet when I came down. Could only work in 1/2 or 3/4 hour spurts then get down and guzzle a gallon of H2O each time. Got to go back up again today. Not looking forward to it. Might make a trip over to my brother-in-laws and take a dip in their pool (which is almost 88 F.). TBow
Well I got that chimney all down on the ground last week. Then Monday of this week, I loaded all the debris onto my trailer and took it all to the local WSI (Waste Services Inc.). You pay by the weight to dispose of refuse. Well turns out I had over 2-1/2 tons of chimney sitting on my poor little utility trailer. Cost me $205 to dump it all and probably 3 gallons of sweat to inload it by hand. Large dump container trucks were backing up behind me waiting for me to unload so I kind'a was under pressure to pick up the pace. Don't wan'na do that again! TBow
I usually only sport a "trucker's tan". It's only my left arm that shows any consistant sun exposure! I got one of those mosquito landing pads under construction on top of the 'ol noggin' that requires a chapeau at all times to avoid heat stroke! TBow
For about week, (two weeks ago), most out-of-ground swimming pools were reading 89 or 90 degrees F. That meant that it was over 95 F and the humidity was almost unbearable. FYI: 35 C = 95 F I'm still old school though and have to convert C to F in order to have some perception of just how hot or cold it really is. My kids on the other hand, grew up learning only metric, and squinch when I still refer to F. TBow
