maytom
Having a rash of rabbit issues of late, and my .17HMR is quite loud in this residential neighborhood. Question is, what brand of pellet gun would some of you suggest? I'm leaning with a .22 caliber and possibly going with either a Gamo or Beman spring model. Ethan Givan
I have heard lots of good things about the Gamo rifles.
Strut10
RWS guns are good pieces, as well. You are right to lean toward the .22. .177 guns lack that K.O. punch you want. Also..stay away from the light, ballistic alloy pellets. They carry very little energy downrange.
woodshed
I've been having a squirrel problem here. I started out using my pellet gun which worked ok. I've been using my .22 rifle with cb's which are mini .22's. They only sound a little louder than the pellet gun, but are WAY more effective and accurate. illegal in many residential areas since it's a fire arm,, but where I am I can get away with it. whitetailtrax
I've had an RWS (.17) for years and really like it, but shot needs to be well placed to be lethal.

Texan_Til_I_Die
Don't know about your area, but here it's legal to own and use suppressed (silencer) air rifles. They're super quiet.
