so heres my problem. im in the marine corps, and stationed in japan, ive missed the past two years of hunting. so i put in for leave to be home during the rut this november, its approved so its a waiting game, already got a new stand buulding a new bow. but the waiting game is killing me ive got buck fever like you wouldnt believe.i though living at home and waiting on season to come in was bad but this, this is insane.4 months to go and im counting every day. just had to get that off my chest.

First off, thanks for serving our country. You are a true hero. The way I see it, its better to wait than to rush into it, but in your case I could see you wanting it to get here. Remember this, your going to be in a great spot when the rut hits your area and the wait will be worth it.

Good luck this November and Thank You for your service!!

Under your circumstances...I can't see how the waiting could be worse unless you had missed more than the past 2 seasons. Maybe you can do some bowfishing over there to take the edge off.

Good luck come November & thanks for your service!

the problem with that idea is i cant have my bow here, i mean if i could atleast just go outside and shoot it day to day things would be better, so for now scuba has been keeping me occupied.

Thanks for serving our country. I know exactly what you mean. I spent four years in Germany and didn't get to come home once. It's hard waiting for the start of the season. However, I would suggest to take advantage of your time overseas. It is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and Japan is a beutiful country. So have fun while your there. It will make the time go faster and you'll be really ready to shoot that big buck when you get home.
