billkay
I have a restored 54 Chevy Pick-Up. I'm considering replacing the solid axle front end with a Mustang II front end. Any thoughts about this or caveats?
Shaun_300
Honestly, no idea Bill! I know the stang front end sure would make for a better ride. But if it was my truck I wouldn't want to touch it, I'd leave it the way it is. If anything do a disc brake conversion if you haven't already did it. billkay
No, I haven't swapped brakes yet either. I figure I will get a ton more use out of the vehicle if it's not such a handful to drive. It already has a slightly built 350 in it with an AT. redkneck
Ever checked out Flaming River? They make a lot of conversion racks for different applications. Don't know if I ever saw a pickup rack on their site, but you might get some ideas. http://www.flamingriver.com/
