It just says in the regulations that its illegal. I'm glad its not illegal where this one was shot. Its a nice deer and will undoubtedly make a beautiful mount. To see a monster like the one you got and not be able to take him would be hard to do. Not sure why its the law here in Michigan either, just is. Post pictures of the full mount when its done. Its illegal to kill any deer with white here unless you have written permission from the ODWC. Its also illegal to kill Cougar, bear, and elk are special draw only (once in a lifetime). Seen a few mounts.... mostly doe Couple of albino buck mounts, but not very good racks....possibly because they were pretty young deer, and shot just because they were albino.
