BowJoe
I read this in my local paper and I completely agree with the theory but I disagree with the idea that deer have no predators around here. I see dozens of coyotes around here. In fact, the population has boomed with the boom of deer. Nature's way of animal control. http://www.thesouthern.com/news/local/article_deee486c-8d6e-11df-a9f5-001cc4c03286.html
Stinger-Hunter
Anyone that says deer meat is tasty compared to regular beef has been living in the boonies for too long or you've never had a real steak. Morton's steakhouse in Chicago baby! You have one steak from there and you'll quit huntin' deer and start shooting cows. Anyway, yes sort of the same ol' article written about deer. A little crop damage, there's more than there used to be, need to hunt them, nothing else works - blah blah blah. Read that article 20 times by different authors - solves nothing. Good to see people writing about deer, but they could have plagiarized that article from a hundred different papers. Maybe I've read too much. I need to cool it.
