Nickel
I have been shooting 2" blazer vanes the past couple seasons and I like them, but the guy at the bow shop today said that they should only be shot with a drop away rest. Which I dont have. Have any of you heard anything like this?

johnf
I think he wants to sell you a rest. I've shot them off a whisker bisket, Octane and a G5 dropaway. He is incorrect.

Yep, this is why I asked what type of rest you were shooting, I figured it might be a WB. Like the others have said there is nothing wrong with shooting blazers through it . Orion_70
I've been shooting regular vanes on my arrows through the WB, but I'm switching over to Blazers 2" vanes this year.. Everyone I've spoken with, and WB, recommend them when shooting that rest. I think that guy was blowing smoke

Tecumseh
I've been using 2 inch gateway rayzr feathers since they came out and have had zero trouble with them. I have to put the powder on them for when it rains but thats not a big deal to do.

ChrisSeb53
i was under the impression that the blazer vanes were made to withstand rests like the WB?
dbHunterNY
sorry haven't shot blazers yet actually. sometimes guys see a couple problems with setups and come up with an opinion. a good shop will point it out to you and tell you why they think somethings wrong if need be, but a bad shop will continue pointing it out to you over and over again without real reason.
