wvgirl
I'm looking to buy my first bow. My draw length is only about 22-23". Any suggestions?? Thanks!
DropTine49
With that draw length, I would look at some of the Diamond youth bows, they have several that would be a great fit, and also have the fps to do the job, unlike some of the others. Wobbly_Alaska
Mathews mission bows. the mennace is a good start bow that will adjust draw and lbs as you grow. we own two of them now along with a bowtech dimond... the dimond needs new limbs as you grow... and has turned into a PITA to get done... Ozarkgal
If I was you I would go with the matthews mustang if you can find one, or the passion that way you dont have to upgrade later!!!!!

I showed my girlfriend all of them and she picked the Diamond Edge with 40-50 lb limbs. The newer model, the Razor Edge has limbs that work across a much larger draw weight range. I liked the specs/performance, but she said it was mainly pretty. I don't know.
wvgirl
thanks for your replies! I shot the Mission Menace and really liked it. Then I shot the Diamond Edge and I didn't think that it was as smooth as the Mathews Mission. I want to shoot the Mathews Ignition and Maniac before I make a purchase. ladyluck
I shoot the Mathews DXT and love it. You might want to try that one too.
Turkeygirl
Like the others said, look at the youth bows. Lots of names out there make them: Mathews,Mission,Bear, Hoyt, etc.... I shoot a 2006 Hoyt Rintec XL. Very quiet, people always comment on it, hence why I can't get rid of it,lol.
