Orion_70
I went out this past weekend to check a couple stands I left out, hang cameras and scout. I've got a few more places to check this weekend I'm interested in. I'll start getting the stands out next weekend. I trimmed and cut a lot on my stands I left out last weekend.. Ticks and mosquitoes are horrible though, they just laughed at the deet I was wearing. I've got some 10% permethrin I think I'll spray my clothes down with tomorrow and let them dry before I wear them this weekend. Maybe that will help with the ticks anyway. Ethan Givan
Ive got a couple stands left up from last year, and I put up another stand last week, which was a real job. It was hot and muggy and we had to carry the stand atleast a half mile to get it where I wanted it. Took us an hour to get it back there and halfway back it started to pour down rain. Finally got it in the tree, but we were soaked and completely exhausted. I really need to do some scouting and hang/move a couple more stands but its so hot, and the ticks are so bad I dont know when I will get enough motivation to do it. Maybe it will cool down alittle next week and I will get it done.
WHISKEYSWAMP
Most of my stands are in place from last year although I want to move a couple... I have a couple to hang after deer season starts and once I figure out where the deer are hanging out.
Rhino
Yep...put out 7 trail cams this past weekend. Hung 3 stands & trimmed shooting lanes for bowhunting too. It's hot here so the time to hang & prep stands is from early morning till ~11:00 a.m. Did a lot of boot leather scouting during spring turkey season (March & April) and during May, & early June. Moved a couple of my firearm stands to promising spots & trimmed lanes, etc. for them back in May. I'll hit the woods again this weekend. Gotta love it! redkneck
I've done nothing, but I need to get to work. I've got stands to move, limbs to cut, and some lock-ons that need the straps loosened. Have not taken the first trail cam yet. About time to get off my butt and get busy.
MUDRUNNER
I put some cameras out two weeks ago, probably won't check them for another two weeks. I've got 5 sets to hang, but with 95 degrees I think I'll wait till the end of August and see if it cools down a smidge. I also need to get started on my fall plots here in the next few weeks, so I can get them planted in early September.

Nickel
If I still had my private land lease I would be hanging soon but not yet. Now I mainly hunt public land and I use my climber.

col3
Hung one up yesterday, took forever to find a good tree, but found one, about 15 yards infront of it is one of the biggest deer highways ive ever seen, put my camera up to, deffinatley pumped to check what kinda pics im getting, and to start hunting outta the stand
GWSmith
Used the climber and trimmed a few trees back but wont place any stands out to get stolen again. The trees are waypoints on my GPS so why risk losing the money!
BearClaw
I'll be putting mine out in a couple of weeks. I still have a 20' mini-ladder I leave out and I'll hang that stand in the same place. I have permissions to hunt some new private land and I need to contact him and find out where he wants me to hunt and hopefully get a stand up out there soon. Jorden
We ended up taking all of ours down this past winter cause they were suppose to be coming into log. We hung one last weekend but still have a lot to hang yet.

hungry hunter
Not a one, too busy between horses, fishing, and scalloping. Where did ya end up getting a lease at?
Orion_70
I got back in the same lease again went out and hung another stand this weekend, checked on some others and put out some trail cams. I've got another spot picked out to hang one, I might go do that this evening. Mosquitoes are horrible though, keep getting eaten alive and it doesn't matter how much I spray down. wtnhunt
Have one hang on to hang about 22 ft up sometime around the beginning of September, our archery opens the end of September. Hopefully we will get a nice day sometime between now and then where the heat index is not over 100 by mid morning. All the other stands are somewhat permanent, do have to do some checking/maintenance on them.
