I don't know if any of you were at the convention last weekend. I spent between 5 and 6 hours there Saturday. I listened to a question and answer session put on by Lee and Tiffany Lakosky which I really enjoyed, and also a presentation put on by Bill Winke about low/no impact entrance routes to stands. He was very informative. There were a ton of booths there, including a friend of mine who owns a hydrographic camo dipping business. (www.duckvilleimaging.com) It was really neat to meet and talk to actual tv personalities. They were very down to earth and nice as can be. Here are a few pics.

Buck at Pat Reeves/Nicole Jones booth. Picture doesn't do it justice. If I remember correctly from the show, it grosses around 200".

Wall of dreams.

These next 3 pics are from inside the Bass Pro buck trailer. It was incredible to see 200" typical whitetails in person.

This is a 251" nontypical from Indiana. It was neat that they actually had 2 Indiana bucks in their collection. It surprised me.

Me with Pat Reeves and Nicole Jones.

Lee and Tiffany's booth. They were BY FAR the busiest booth in the place. There was a long line all day long. It took me 30 to 40 minutes to get through it.

And here I am with them. (Everyone talks about how pretty Tiffany is. Let me tell you, she is even prettier in person.)

Here is a hat I bought while there and collected autographs with. I got Gene and Barry Wensel (had fun talking with Gene), Pat Reeves and Nicole Jones, and Lee and Tiffany.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it again next year (location is yet to be determined). If you get the chance to go, it is worth the trip.
