ousoonerfan22
I have an unfired remington 700 sps .204 stainless with leupold rings/base,burris signature series 4-16,sling and bypod,6 boxes of ammo, trigger job 2.5 lbs, everything is new. Last sunday I carried the gun in at the local gun show and when someone asked about it I told them I would take $1000.00 for it with no takers... is that too much? I think I'll use the burris scope and bypod on my ruger no.1 .270 then try to sell the .204 with rings, base and ammo.
Ethan Givan
Doesnt sound like a bad deal to me considering they msrp for over $700. When you add all the extras I would think your in the ballpark for sure.
hunterbobb
700 SPS in stainless steel are selling for about $550.00. The extra accesories you have there really don't add any extra value to the rifle. Now consider that you had the trigger worked to 2.5 lbs and many people will avoid it do to the fact they will be unsure of the quality of the work. Finally the .204 ruger is not a very popular caliber. In my opinion you have your work cut out for yourself trying to to sell that rifle. I would start by asking $500.00 for it and take any offer you get higher than $400.00.
