Casey
Looking at this website and kennel. This is about a 30 minute drive from my house. I do want a dog that I might be able to duck hunt and goose hunt with, also maybe pheasant hunt in South Dakota!! http://www.cuttersridgelabradors.com/Index.html
Alisha
Looks like a good breeder to me. They have the pedigree posted as well as results from having eyes and hips tested so they don't seem like they have anything to hide. I like that they offer a training program as well! Have you contacted them yet? I would be willing to bet that their puppies go for $1,000 to $1,500 each.

dogdoc
I breed a litter or two a year and run hunt tests with my labs. I'm pretty up on lab pedigrees and the pedigrees on these dogs are really nice. It is also nice that this breeders has all the clearances--hips, eyes, eic, and cnm. Yes these pups will cost a bit more but in my opinion it is worth the extra cost to help insure a healthy dog but also you are buying a pup from proven hunting lines. Looks like a good breeder!! good luck with your decision. todd
Alisha
Thanks for chiming in, Todd! I agree with what you said about the extra cost. You certainly get what you pay for when buying from a reputable breeder.
