i use hornady sst love them shooting out of browning gold deer slayer can reach out 200 yds 2 inches high at 50 yrds zeroed at 150 6 inches low at 200

Winchester 20 ga rifled for me

I use Hornady sst 20 ga. I shoot a NEF Ultra Slug Hunter. It is a single shot gun with a fully rifled barrel. I have a Bushnell Throphy Shotgun scope mounted on it and can shoot slightly more than 2" groups at 100 yards with it.

I get better accuracey with my slug gun and this load than I do with my Open sighted Marlin 30-30.

i use a nef ultra slugger with a tasco scope i shoot ko rifled slugs out of it and have 1 in groups at 100 yards

I shoot the same gun with the barnes expanders 150 yards is the longest shot at a deer.

I put Hornady SST's through my Mossberg 500 slug gun. Puts a big hole in a deer.

I rifle hunt, but since this thread is started does anyone use the Remington Accutip and...would the new Winchester PDX1 12 guage with the rifled slug and the 3 00 buck?

I have a Remington 870 with fully rifled slug barrel. I've only had time to try Lightfields so far and they've performed well at the distances I normally have shots (under 100 yards). I'd like to try some of the other slugs though when I have the time.

Federal Power-Shok 20 gauge 2 3/4" 3/4 oz. maximum slug out of my first shotgun, a youth NEF Pardner single-shot. Haven't had a chance to take a deer with it yet, but I got stacks of slug boxes in the ammo case! lol

well killed a couple this year with the auc tip man what a slug band dead deer pure evil out of my marlin bolt 12ga fully rifled. I like the 1900fps winchesters well also flat shooting as all heck.

All areas I've hunted so far, permit the use of a rifle. I decided to check this thread out, in case the day comes when I'll have to get another barrel and use my ProHunter. Looks like Hornady and Remington are the most prevalent. I do like Hornady SSTs in my ML. Makes sense.

Winchester Supreme Platnium Tips.....shoot like a rifle out of my Super Black Eagle. Killed many a deer in southern Michigan and Northwest Indiana....as well as a few yotes that ventured to close.
