Dwayne Wade, keeping things in perspective...

During a recent interview, Wade was asked about the Heat now being the team with a bullseye on their back. He mentioned that they may actually lose a couple games here and there...and then went on to suggest that if that does happen, it will be such a big story in the media "it will be like the World Trade (Center) is coming down again."

Wow, I'm just about done with pro sports. I get these aren't a bunch of MIT grad students sitting around outlining their thesis, but you have to have a little sense, right?

I'd finally gotten into the NBA the last couple years, at least into the playoffs. With this trade move, I doubt I'll care to watch next year.

As for pro sports, I think the MLB is headed in the right direction. Looks like the steroid era is about over. Pitchers are throwing better games and lasting longer, and there seems to be more grit and grind in the players now.

It's a great sport if you're a fan of A.) The Yankees B.) The Red Sox or C.) A team that plays in the greater Los Angeles area.

No competitive balance, bud. NFL, NHL, and the PGA are the only sports with any parity anymore.

Well I have to agree, I hate the reporters when it comes to the NBA, some of the dumbest questions are asked in the press conferences. I think some of these guys and gals need to be screened before entering, "can't fix stupid" I agree though baseball is starting to come back and coming back stronger than ever. Seems since Strautsberg (SP?) the MLB pitchers are starting to gain their confidence back. You can go out there and pitch against some of these guys and get strikeouts!

I've always like D-Wade and Chris Bosh, but the way Lebron handled this whole deal, gave me a bad taste in my mouth for Lebron, I hope he doesn't win a championship at all now.

I disagree... I honestly think none of those teams will win the World Series... I think we see a Rays vs Braves Series

Muggsy calling his shot....

I think it'll come down to the STL Cardinals Vs The Red Sox, I feel that the NL has just equal competition as the AL has.

This is a long shot, but for the sake of fun...I'm calling a Rangers vs. Reds series.

Dodgers/Cards vs. Spankees seems more logical though.

Which team does dwayne wade play for again?;)
