redkneck
My girls have been picking blackberries to make some jelly. They lose interest, the old batch in the frig has to be thrown out, and then they go pick some more. I guess I'll have to hire some Mexicans to finish the job. ruttinbuc
We are inundated with them up on the mountain. The bears are having a feast. My truck is in the body shop and it is too hot to hitchhike or I'd be getting my fill too!
Adjam5
Very nice Matt. We also have had our berry explosion. Our Raspberry pods opened about 4 weeks ago here in Rockland, and at the country house... the Blueberries are almost there 100% and the blackberries are still working with a few that ripened prematurely. This weekend I will be using the table cloth under the Blueberry bush and shake it method .
Tominator
Picked a few of those the other day too. Those raspberries look good; I prefer those to the blackberries, but I don't have any on my property. :eat:
dbHunterNY
Looks tasty. I was bush hogging the other day and stopped to clean off a bunch before I leveled them. I didn't get much though. It seemed like most were not ready yet. There were only blackberries too, no rasberries.
dbHunterNY
I should get this recipe from my mom and post it in the grub room. It's like a berry cream pie. I'm kind of hungry now.
RangerClay
Went looking last night and our blackberries are about 1-2 weeks away. Dan! Post that recipe!

Shaun_300
Mmmmmm nothing like blackberries and raspberries, my favourite! I'll be taking a rip into the bush where I deer hunt, there's a huge patch of them in one area. Gonna also bring the 12ga along with some slugs in case there's a bear not wanting us to be there too. :jaw:
