What browser are you using? (name and version)

I have verified that this thread displays correctly in Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Firefox 3.6, Safari 5, and Chrome 5.

Explorer 7 at work.

Whatever the latest and greatest safari is at home.

They both work fine for me but have a ton of blank/dead space to the left and right. I think you guys should look into making it a Fluid forum page instead of Fixed. 90% of the forums out there are fluid, so it fills the screen of any monitor and resolution, (I think anyhow)

Wow!!! Definitely a change for sure. I agree with the majority in that it will take a little while to get use to....and i'll second what John said about it seeming a little cluttered or claustraphobic....I have no problems with having to scroll down or side to side - everything fits pretty good. Should definitely eliminate all problems with side bars blocking pictures or threads.

Only when I go into the main forums page and when I click to reply to a thread does it bring the screen back up to the left corner. If I click on a specific thread from the main forum screen, it will center itself.

This is what I see:

I agree, my screen has a ton of dead space on both sides as well. So far I like the looks, but wish it filled the page more. Even on my laptop with a 15 inch monitor there is a bit to much dead space.

The dead space was always an issue. We know the reason it is in place is for advertising purposes, bit once past the ad??? I'd rather see a full screen also. At least tweaked out closer to the edge. Ads can be flashed in the big windows up top

You should change the screen resolution in your Settings. Right click on the desktop, click Properties or Personalize. Should be a tab for Display Settings, if you choose a setting where the numbers are higher you will see more on your screen and won't have to scroll when viewing web pages like this one.

I like the change, but the board looks a bit too busy. Maybe it is just the change to get used to. But there is a lot going on one page. Spacing on thread page could be better. Better use of the dead space on the sides could be utilized. Print is easier on the eyes.

I give 'em an 8.
