Center Point Scopes

Recommended Posts

I had a friend recommend a Center Point AR22 scope for my 22lr rifle. Their site states that they have made air rifle scopes and recently got into the rifle scope business. The scoop on the above scope says it is parralax free at 50 yds is adjustable from 3 to 9 power and is a 32 mm objective. They claim to have strapped it to a 416 Rigby and it took the recoil and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. I never heard of these scopes before so has anyone here had any experience with this company's scopes. Also does anyone know where they are made.

Paul.......

No firsthand experience with them. But they are a Chinese-made scope imported by the Crosman airgun company.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're probably best avoided if you're looking for anything more than a throw-away scope. Kinda like the BSA, Barska and a whole raft of other $50 Chineses brands. You may get one that doesn't fall apart ever. But the quality of glass, the shifting P.O.I. over the power range, etc. probably ain't gonna be worth the aggravation.

Just my .$02

Strut I assumed as much simply because their own site makes no mention of where they are made. Guess one can assume that they ain't very proud of where they are made. That is just the reason why I was looking for info before I even go and look at one. I will say that I picked up a pair of 10 power Barska binos and they are still bright and clear but the rubber grips had to be reglued and the strap holder broke off. They are relagated to truck use. I don't need that for my 22 rifle. Thanks
