ckrich
After having my new(to me) Alphamax set up and shooting for exactly 7 days, she's back on the DL. I went home this weekend for a family event, and naturally took my bow to show it off and shoot a bit. My brother-in-law, a bowhunter for some 12-odd years, drew back and accidently dry fired it within 30 seconds of me pulling it out of the case. Luckily he and the bow appear to be ok, but I'll have to order another string and take it into the shop to get checked out. On his tab. Anybody ever have something like this happen? Texan_Til_I_Die
The closest I've come to a dry fire was a buckle failure on a release. Fortunately the release stayed attached to the string so I guess that prevented any bow damage.
