Rem308
This weekend I had plans of packing a lunch and plenty of cold water and gatorade in the cooler and hitting the farm hard for a day of trail riding and enjoyment. While I did get to do this, I also managed to get some work done, so that was even better. For starters, I took my Yamaha WR250F over right after daybreak and really enjoyed riding in the fields in the cool air as the fog and dew burnt off. Soon it was getting warm so I hit the shade covered trails and creek beds. I ride easy, try not to tear too much up, so I made a full morning out of checking treestands and trying to make it through certain technical spots. I did find one section of barbed wire that some deadbeats had torn down and were helping themselves to riding the trails, trespassing all over, throwing down their trash, etc so I knew that I would have to go get my tools and build fence at some point. I elected to save that for alter in the evening after it started to cool down, for now it was just too hot. I kept riding and had a great time, saw plenty of wildlife including a nice gobbler and a tall 6 point in full velvet. This 4 stroke bike is loud w/ it's aftermarket YZF pipe, but the wildlife didn't mind it too much as I saw plenty of animals while I was buzzing the trails. So I came back later w/ the tools and materials to build fence, took my quad so I could haul it all and (HOPEFULLY) stopped this activity. Time will tell, I guess. And then, after a LONG day and a LOT of water and gatorade and food, I wrapped it all up with a midnight ride under a full moon on my bike again:
