I'm sure I will get flamed for it. Long time members know the mods I'm talking about. As for me I don't care anymore. I rarely come on here and post. To the best of my knowledge, and I have been here a little while although I have not been a mod as long as most of the mods here, but to the best of my knowledge mods here do not ban and have not banned members just for the heck of it or for having differences with other members who tick them off. Scott would never go for keeping mods who ban members just because they tick them off. I hope your post was meant as sarcasm, if not, you might message Scott to further explain rather than bashing the mods as a group in the open forums. Don't know Jason and I cannot speak for all the mods here, but I have never not answered a pm from any member who asked why a post was edited/deleted, in fact most times I have edited posts the member actually saw it coming or understood why. Typically when I have deleted whole threads I have contacted the original poster and let them know the reason why, most often those are threads in the classifieds by ineligible members. There have been a very few that I can recall that I have edited that the member argued or did not understand. Far as the ban happy comment, yep when it comes to spammers I guess I may be a little on the ban happy side, but there have been no other bans since I have been a mod that I am aware of that were not justified. Mods typically discuss bannings and actions taken against members who may have crossed the line, so this mentality that there are a group of "overzealous" mods on this forum who are out to ban members who disagree with them is kinda far fetched. The only reason I'm still here is a handful of okies that I like to talk to. Last members banned, spammers aside, that I recall were members who did not belong here for obvious reasons. There have been instances in the past and yes it does happen. Maybe what you are suggesting was before my time as a mod, but then that would not make sense as to why the suggestion that has to do with how things are now. I actually agree about the bickering, not sure why there has been the upswing in bickering here(maybe the climbing number of new members and diversity that comes with it, dunno), but no doubt in my mind it is a turn off for many to have petty nonsense and that might keep members away or at least slow activity.
