Gator
Another reason to not like the forums...... Just a second ago, at the top right the page, is a cartoon character (female), pulling the straps partially down on her dress????? And a text bubble saying, "I have a birthday surprise for you". Come on now, does RT really need that?
92xj
Yes! Next time can you screen shot and post the pic? I am just curious what you are seeing because I dont see it, no other reason.
Slash
Is this some kind of cruel joke? I've hit the refresh button 20 times now trying to see what you are talking about with no luck. What was the ad for?
92xj
I am thinking you have a nice little virus on your computer there bud! Stop wondering around the internet or buy a mac to fix that problem.

wtnhunt
Yep, a blonde. Some E Card advertisement And nope, no joke!! Probably a virus on your computer Jason. Never seen anything like that on here. Matter of fact I am pretty sure the same antler max ad has been on the right side of my screen just about every time I have been on here since the changeover. LifeNRA
Clear your cookies, history, and Temp internet files folder!!! IE8 has a neat little tool that will do all this, you can even have the command on your tool bar. Its called, "Delete Browsing History". Goinghuntin
Nope I didn't see it, but I don't doubt it was there. My best advice is to stop looking at that stuff while the Realtree tab is still open :nono: Nathan
Jeramie
Im betting it is a virus. I picked one up several years ago and it turned everything upside down...
redkneck
Ad-aware free edition from Lavasoft. Very good tool for removing adware. Very good tool you can trust to remove a lot of crap with no strings attached. http://download.cnet.com/Ad-Aware-Free-Internet-Security/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?tag=mncol Everybody's always hung up on virus protection. It's the stinking ad's that are most likely to kill your pc. They tunnel into the boot sector and corrupt it and eventually and then you're screwed and have to get a new drive. Gator
I see it on my homepage as well. But it's not all the time. Don't go to sites I shouldn't, so I don't know what is going on....
ruttinbuc
You have a bug! They can come from anywhere. If one got in there are more than likely others to follow. Do the anti malware thing.
redkneck
This gets rid of that crap. Follow instructions. Easy and flawless. http://www.malwarebytes.org/ I'll second that one. Runs pretty well, though I don't consider any of them flawless. Generally when I have a major issue, it may take a few different scanners to get rid of it. Another good one is a site advisor like Mcafee has with the check marks that show up next to each site when you do a search to report known issues.
