Dawg
Mac N Cheese? Sounds like you picked up a bug for sure. I haven't seen any of the ads you have. I'd go with what John and Mike posted, that will more than likely take care of it.
dbHunterNY
It does change being either Antler Max, McKenzie, Delta, Bear, or otherwise. I haven't seen that one though.
dbHunterNY
it's probably some malware to give you ads. i'd get rid of it like the others said. I've used lavasoft and some others. they work.

ruttinbuc
I'll second that one. Runs pretty well, though I don't consider any of them flawless. Generally when I have a major issue, it may take a few different scanners to get rid of it. Another good one is a site advisor like Mcafee has with the check marks that show up next to each site when you do a search to report known issues. By flawless I meant even a caveman could do it. I have had some major issues over the years. I used majorgeeks.com and got many a problem solved. Free.

LifeNRA
Nope, no virus, just ran Macafee. And history has been deleted. Has anyone seen the "ZWINKY" advertisement? Get Adware, Windows defender, and the latest Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool from Microsoft. Delete anything it finds. You could still have something that is or still monitoring your internet travels! http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=435bfce7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-f7f14e605a0d&displaylang=en http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.aspx hmmm---not getting that add here. you might try downloading ccleaner and cleaning your harddrive. some type of pop-up. CCleaner works great! Anytime you remove a program, run this and all traces are removed from the registry! http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner I see it on my homepage as well. But it's not all the time. Don't go to sites I shouldn't, so I don't know what is going on.... It doesn't matter, they sell your cookie info to other companies. Gator
Think I figured it out. Think it may be something having to do with the connection I am on here in the hotel. I'll have to see what happens when I get back on a secure connection
