Jorden
My peep has been moving on me so I want to retie it and instead of taking it in and having it done I was just going to do it myself. My question is, what is the best way to remove the ties that are already on my string so I can put new ones on. I dont want to do any damage to my string so I am not sure the best way to go about it. bluelund79
I use a razor blade, very carefully. I will admit that I nicked the string once, and I had to get new strings and cables-on a plus note, it was cruddy factory strings from Mathews, so I was alright getting some Vaportrails instead. Which way is your peep moving? Up or down or is it twisting on the string? If its up and down, retying will be fine, if its twisting, you may want to take it to someone with a press to either put or take away a twist or 2 to straighten it out. Good luck and be careful....
