Joe Wild Posted July 29, 2010 Report Share Posted July 29, 2010 I sent in this video to Top Shot Casting for season 2 of their show "Top Shot". For those who haven't seen Top Shot it comes on History Channel and is a shooting competition reality show. I like the show and hope they pick me for season two. They have called me twice now and it looks good for me right now. Feel free to tell me what you think of my video I always think I look bad on video or listen to myself but I guess most of us are uncomfortable watching ourselves I just wish they didn't shoot the show during hunting season. Have seen the show once, thought it was ok, will probably catch it again sometime. Think the kid(Kelly?) they sent to the challenge is underestimated. Good luck. Thanks it's taken me many yrs to kill some good bucks and it also took me and a friend all day to edit my tape and make this video but thats mainly because we don't know how to run his editing softwear I've fell in love with the skull mount look and do all my deer like that the last few years. Me and a friend made this video using his Mac and final Cut editing system. I used to have Pinnacle studio 9 on my computer but need to get something for my new computer. I currently use Pinnacle but it won't handle HD or author a Blueray. I'm also looking to upgrade my software. Based on what I've researched so far it looks like Adobe Premier Elements 8 is what I'm looking for. I'm gonna download the trial and try it on some HD footage when I get some. Randy was called to be on the first show but due to shows already booked during their filming times he had to decline. Randy had the contract and was ready to sign it but when he saw the filming dates he told them he couldn't cancel his shows. Joe will not be able to tell us if he won a spot on the show. The contract says if chosen he can not tell anyone or it is a one million dollar fine. He will not be able to do interviews or any media with out permission from the producer. Yep, have studio version 10.7 on this computer. They have upgrades(at additional cost) available if I am not mistaken to make the software able to edit and burn to dvd in hd. Thanks man i'm very modest and i'm glad it showed. Can't wait to see this week’s show. Three people are going home and only one more episode till we know who wins. It's way to similar to Survivor though which kind of bugs me but I love to see the different weapons they use and the instructors they have on there (like Scott Robertson and that Navy SEAL Sniper School Instructor). I'm really pulling for that guy Pete to win. There's not many better marksman than a Marine Sniper. But that Iain guy is pretty good too. I guess they're all pretty good shooters now that i think about it! It seems like to get on the show you just have to be a decent marksman that can put shots on target because most of the challenges feature firearms and weapons that the contestants have never used before and are all beginners with.
