woolybear
Same problem here lately ssky. Nothing but coons. May want to try slathering a tree trunk up with some peanut butter for them away from your cam. They can't get enough of that stuff and might lighten up around your feeder... I'd say they prefer PB to corn.
redkneck
I know where you're coming from. All I had last week was coon pic on the trough where I set my cam out last week. All I can tell you is trap the snot out of them and you can really slow them down, but you have to stay at it. 2 traps at that feeder and you'll have a dozen caught in a week's time. I've got some ideas on a multi-coon trap, but havent worked out the details yet.
Hoosier Hunter
I have the same problem when I use corn. Now I just use salt licks and Buck Jam. Seems like I'm just feeding the coons when I put out corn.
Doc
My gosh! it looks like a small fortune in coon hides. Wait until they prime up (you have to wait for the season to open up anyway) and then get some traps out there. Actually, if you rush them, chances are good that they will all just head up the nearest tree. Then you could take your time and shoot them out of the tree with a good light and a .22 Have fun! hunter109
i would say you will have to shoot them that is what we had to do on ours and it stopped it for a long time then we had to start agin when they came back
