NEBRbruiser
I'm in my second year of shooting a bow and looking at getting the F-15 broadhead? I have the rage 2blade and the crimson talon but seen some advertisement and really like the looks and concept of the F-15. First off its a fixed broadhead which is the reason I don't trust the Rage anymore considering the NE weather can get nasty and would be VERY upset if the mechanical broadhead didn't open up correctly. Maybe overreacting?? What's everyone's thoughts??
BamaTrae
I have no complains on the rage. It's amazing. I also like the G5 teken, when I feel like a fixed broadhead I stick with Muzzy. This is an entry wound from a rage 3 blade. The blood trail was sick. And only went 30 yards.
jcot2773
havent heard much on them but i have shot NAP razorbacks, G5 and am going to shoot muzzy this year. razorbacks shot like my broadheads. the G5's shot different than my broadheads. but let me know how they work out, they do look cool. bluelund79
Fixed blade-100gr Magnus Stinger and Buzzcut 4 blades. They are true cut on contact, fly well with a tuned bow, and have a lifetime warranty that the company honors-'nuff said there. Mechanical-I prefer Epeks. The fly well, and you can use the hunting broadhead in a practice mode, so you know exactly your hunting heads fly. They are easy to reset and replace blades with as well. Dakota
I prefer Rage 2 blade broadheads but, when I shoot a fixed blade, I like Muzzy MX-3 100 grains as well. Dakota

I bought some Rage 2-blades and they had a tendancy to open when they were not supposed to. So I sold them and I also got Epeks XC-3's for my mechanicals. Great broadheads. For fixed blades I shoot Slick Trick Mags.
Slash
RAGE 2 blade here, just bought 2 packs off ebay for $50 too, good deal if you ask me, they get the job done to say the least. This deer went 50 yds and we couldn't get it to stop bleedin for pics LOL.
swohiodave
I stick with my Thunderheads but i have seen a spitfire do some damage as well.
dosse
Im a rage two blade guy myself. Taken 17 or 18 deer with them now and never have lost one and have had some ridiculously huge blood trails entrys and exits. I wont be changing anytime soon. May try the new t-3 from g5 this year also though just to see what it does
hunter109
well i use to be a rage fan and after i shot my buck last year and one of the blades did not open so i am going to try out the slick tricks i got some right after i shot my buck but never had another shot to try them out well see you all latter
HUNTINGMAN
I have shot muzzy heads for a long time and dont plan on switching any time soon, dont fix whats not broke. If I did switch it would be for the muzzy phantoms I think.I to like the looks of the f15 but looks alone doesnt kill deer, but do loke the idea of them. Concept is great but if for whatever reason it does not open completely you might have just missed a trophy!?? Help?? Doesn't sound like anyone so far has tried the F-15? ksmith
I am a big fan of the bloodrunners. I have been useing them the past couple of yrs. They are the best broadheads that i have ever shot with my Hoyt. Fly great and they are consistant in pattern with every shot. If its no broke then don't fix it has always been my philosophy so ill be sticking with them untill i have a reason to switch!
Jeramie
Just about any solid, sharp head will work. Ive shot several over the years but have made the final switch to Muzzy. They are a rock solid, dependable head. I honestly have no reason to switch to anything else. Ive thought about trying the rage because they seem to be all the rage (pun intended). But if the muzzy is working so well I really dont have a reason to change!
Rhino
For the same reasons Jeramie is sticking with his Muzzy's, I'm sticking with my Montec G5's. They've always grouped like my field points and they have done their job in the field very well.

But if the muzzy is working so well I really dont have a reason to change! i feel the same, any sharp head in the right place will do the trick, and ive also shot many over the years from thunder heads to wasp's and even used the rage year before last, not knocking them for those who use them ive just had bad luck with them from the blades breaking off to haveing one break off at the end of the arrow, i too am a strong beleaver in the muzzy's and wont ever change again. a very dependable head. Flintlock1776
Magnus Buzz Cut, One deer went about 20 yards and dropped all the others dropped right in their tracks.
maddhunter
Crimson Talon or G5 Tekans. Never shot a more durable broadhead than the G5s. Just resharpen and reuse.
redkneck
I'm sure the F-15 does it's job, but looks like there's just too much going on with it. I'll stick with 2-3 blades.
dbHunterNY
The simpler the broadhead, the less can go wrong. Sorry, I haven't tried them.
NEBRbruiser
I just recieved my F-15 fixed for the $4.95 shipping. After looking at it closer I like it even more! The main two blade is a nice thick and strong looking blade. If these seem to fly well with my bow I think I'm going to shoot them this year. In my opinion having 6 blades with cutting edges should cut more vessels and POTENTIALLY create more blood loss, but what do I know?
