Who will win the Big Ten?

I honestly think whoever wins the Wisconsin/Ohio St will win the conference. Iowa is a great team but I'm not sold on the O-line. They also snuck out a lot of games last year and I don't see them doing that this year.

Call me a homer but I'm going with Wisconsin this year. Our offense is going to have a great year and I think the D will do enough to win.

Go Wisky!!!

I...O!

Ricky Stanzi played his high school ball at Lake Catholic in Mentor, which is about 2.5 miles from my doorstep. He wasn't even a QB in HS until his sophomore year (maybe junior). Personally, I think their backup is a better QB. That kid stepped into the Buckeyes game last year and looked pretty impressive. I think he was Mr. Football in Iowa his senior year of HS too. Honestly, pretty sure they'd be a better team with him. But it's Stanzi's team now. His arm seems lacking and he's prone to INTs. I do not get the hype surroung him at all.

As far as the Badgers go, Clay is a LOAD. They're returning their QB who is okay too. With that game in Madison, it's going to be tough. I do seem to remember my Bucks smoking them last season...in a way that scares me, they'll be looking for revenge.

The Buckeyes have a loaded backfield, Pryor looked to finally find himself towards the end of last year, but I can still see him imploding like he did against Purdue last year. We shall see. I think they can always fall back on Herron and Saine though...it's been a while since OSU had two experirenced backs like this. I'm a little worried about their WR corps. They lost Chris Carter's kid because the jackarsh flunked out, and Lamarr Thomas transferred (idiot would have been their slot guy this season). So that leaves Taurian Washington...and that scares me.

I seem to remember it taking an INT return for a TD and a kickoff return for a TD for ohio st to beat Wisconsin last year. Those don't happen in Madison this year. Bucky wins 20-13.

Pryor is a freak. He'll get three TDs alone, but I'm sure the Badgers will chew a lot of clock with Clay. Turnovers will decide it, but Pryor's been through some big games already in his career so I'm hopeful he will take care of the ball.

27-17 Buckeyes.

School is back in session. The course, you ask? Well, little buddies, the course is called "Why You Know Next to Nothing 101.'

What you don't realize Johnboy, is that rarely did they ever play an SEC during their real powerhouse days under Hayes. Why you ask? Because they were usually playing in the Rose Bowl against the Pac 10. The years when they had young, inexperienced and lesser teams that didn't make the Rose Bowl is when they'd play SEC teams. It ever case, the SEC teams were always ranked a lot higher.

You have to have real sports knowledge to decipher the numbers, bud. Both yourself and Stu Scott are sort of lacking in that dept., and since you get your info from him, you're really screwed!

As for the two recent losses, Troy Smith came into that game 10 lbs. overweight, Boone had a torn knee, and the Buckeyes bought their own hype. A hungry, underrated Gators team handed it to them. Hat's off to them for that performance.

During that home game for LSU, my beleoved Buckeyes really had no right to be in the championship game. They lost about 70% of their ofensive starters from the undefeated team the year before. Their top 3 WRs, their Heismann QB, their starting RB, their LT, their RT, and their FB. Three of those players were 1st round picks. Yet, for whatever reason, the media put them in that game.

Pryor is refined now, he's a junior, and he's 6'5" 250 lbs. and runs in the low 4.4s. They're returning more starters on both sides of the ball than any team in the entire country. They have two solid RBs in Saine and Herron, Posey is one of the better WRs I've seen come through this campus since Santonio Holmes, and they're solid defensively.

Bring on 'Bama...they'll smoke them.

At least he's claiming a team DB.

Man up and claim a team.

Hint: Joe Pa is a walking fossil, and I used the term "walking" lightly, so choose wisely.

haha, he's also a bowel movement waiting to happen. break out the depends Joe Pa, then you won't have to run off the field next time.

No teams. I'm like Notre Dame...independent.

And the JoePa comments do not offend me. Dude should have walked away 5 years ago. He's holding that program down. That's why Pitt is passing them up.

Yup, Pitt has now taken over the honor of being the "also ran" of college football. Oh, happy day!
