de-noised shots

I finaly caved and took Daves advice to get a noise reduction program for my pics. Here's some shots I edited with the Nikon program and Noise Ninja. I'm pretty happy with them even though I don't completely understand all the functions it's capable of. Just takes quite a bit of time for me to get things close to where I think they should be. Just some random shots I don't think I posted here before.

Nice shots. Question, what would the photos have looked like with "NO NOISE REDUCTION"?? The Nikons take really nice photos in normal modes.

good luck to all

It's like night and day. I did a side by side comparison and it's amazing the difference it makes. I don't know all the technicalities of it. I thought mine took pretty good shots straight outta the cam until I tried it myself.

If you google Noise Ninja, they have a free download you can run. It will watermark any pics you use it on and save, but you will be able to see the difference for yourself on your photos.:)

Haha, thanks Mike. I know what you mean about the trials. After playing with it for the week I couldn't stand to look at my pics without it and just had to have it,lol.:shifty:

I think they have a standalone 8 bit home package for something like 35 bucks. I figured I'd get the pro package just because I'm planning on getting Photo Shop sometime in the future so I could use the plugin for that.
