nasty injury

I have a friend who broke C-4-C8 and was paralyzed but he always kept a positive attitude...about 2 years after his accident he began to move extremities, albeit a finger and toe at a time but he now can walk most days without the use of any device. Some days he regresses and has problems but for the most part a miracle happened to him.

In 2002 I broke my neck and back in 6 places. I have all kinds of titanium screws, rods, joints, duct tape and bailing wire in me but as my doctor said "am the unluckiest lucky person he has ever known. Although I was not paralyzed, I feel all the nerve damage that was done and am in constant pain. About %50 of the time I am in bed and can not move because the pain is so severe. I battle depression but always keep the utmost faith in God that he will continue working miracles in my life. I always thank God for the gifts he has given me in my life and for the strength he has given me...sounds as if you have the same prayer.

Keep it up!

It was last October 27th. I got in a vehicle accident and broke my neck in the Cervical 6-7 area and I'm paralyzed from the chest down.

I wasn't a member yet but I'm so sorry to hear this! I don't think I could make it through what you do every day. I admire you for being so strong about the whole thing man :cowboy:
